Staten Island, New York’s Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services

The Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services (GSIVS) medical director, Dr. Susan Meeking, recently unveiled a new patient payment portal that makes veterinary services more accessible and affordable for pet owners on the island. The portal allows pet owners to conveniently make payments for veterinary services through a secure online interface.

The new payment option is made possible through GSIVS’ partnership with Garden State Veterinary Servs., which operates the X-Ray Portal in New Jersey. “Our goal is to provide our patients with the best possible care, and this new payment portal will help us to do that,” said Dr. Meeking. “We hope that other veterinary hospitals will follow our lead and implement similar payment portals so that all pet owners have access to affordable veterinary care.

Staten Island Veterinary Services (GSIVS) is a full-service veterinary clinic that focuses on preventionism and early warning signs in pet health. Dr. Susan Meking, the clinic’s director, says that their approach to pet care is based on the belief that “healthy pets lead healthy lives.” In order to achieve this goal, SIVS emphasizes early detection of illnesses and problems, which allows for timely treatment and prevention of future issues. Dr. Meeking also believes that it is important for veterinarians to have a hands-on approach to patient care, which is why the clinic provides comprehensive services such as diagnostic imaging and dental care.
